Importance of mobile marketing

It is important to remember that not all people use the same mobile platform. In a world where people use cellphones, Tablets, Laptops, and other mobile devices, it is absolutely necessary to make your advertisements span across multiple platforms. This way you will be able to reach more people. If you’re thinking about expanding out to a different market with a different product, make sure that you start this effort normally first before you branch out to mobile marketing.

It’s going to be very difficult to pull people in from the mobile world to your new product, so go with what got you here and just repeat the process. Inform your audience of how frequently messages will be sent. Give them options if they don’t want messages as frequently as you would like to send them. The last thing you want to do is become the pest who sends out messages daily, when your audience informs you they would prefer weekly messages. Frequency expectations can help with this.

Make your messages concise. This isn’t the time to worry about perfect spelling, as you are limited in the number of characters you can use. If you choose “B” instead of “be”, or “2″ instead of “To” you will save characters, and potentially cost.
